Garry's PriUPS

Garry has a 2009 Prius, and was exhibiting some trepidation as to whether it would function with a UPS as the earlier model years did.  Fortunately it worked out OK.  He has a 6kVA Liebert power supply, which runs off a 192V battery, almost ideal for the Prius DC source.  However, he found that it won't "cold start" and so still needs to get a set of normal batteries for it to be fully operational.  Meanwhile, he is using the Prius to power a 2.2kW APC supply.

Expect an update when he sends me pictures of the full setup.
