Gimme Gimme Gimme!

I want something, and I can't believe our hypertrophied tech culture can't provide it for me.

  • I have an MP3 player.  It's not an iPod, but it has a 60GB disk, which is almost large enough, and it has saved my life.
  • I have a cellphone.  It's not the latest or best, but it makes calls and who knows, may save my life some day.
  • I have a camera.  In fact I just had a nice babble about it a few days ago.  It's a great camera, but it's too big to carry with me all the time.

But I don't have a single gadget that embodies all three, and, so far as I know, they don't exist.  I know you can't put a great camera in a cellphone, but they do have decent ones.  What about the MP3 player?  They exist, but have the critical flaw of too little storage since there is no hard drive.  What's the big deal about adding a hard drive to one of the cellphone/camera/MP3 players that already exist?  'Splain!  Or better yet, Gimme!
